Recently, EB-LINK has completed the centralized stocking of the series of serial and parallel port expansion cards for industrial computers. The mainstream models of serial cards, RS485/422 cards and parallel cards have all entered the stock warehouse. Testing and delivery of the transformation project can be arranged on the same day, without having to wait for the production schedule.

Which models are most available this time?

Inventory focuses on multiport and differential bus models:PCI-E to 8 serial port cardSuitable for one host to be fully connected with debugging and acquisition ports.PCI-E to 4-port RS485/422 serial port cardCovering production line bus networking,PCI-E parallel port cardIt is aimed at cashier receipts and old-fashioned printing equipment. Single-port cards and PCI interface models have been replenished simultaneously, making it easy to directly replace old platforms or provide temporary relief.

Industrial computer transformation usually cannot avoid two types of needs:

  • The new motherboard does not have a COM port, but the host computer software still communicates through serial ports. It is most straightforward to plug in a card to make up the port;
  • The old instrument only has an LPT parallel port, and the printer and collection box will continue to be used;
  • For centralized collection of multiple devices, one host must have more than 8 serial ports or 485 buses.

Test one by one before shipping out.

Before each card leaves the warehouse, it completes port connectivity, long-term baud rate transmission and reception, and system identification tests, and confirms that the driver is loaded normally before being packaged and shipped. Models that are temporarily unavailable can be submitted to the equipment list for registration first, and replenishment will usually be available within a week on working days. For batch transformation projects, lock-in inventory can be reported in advance. When the number of ports is particularly large, it is recommended to ship in batches.

If you are not sure about the number of slots and ports in the machine and how to configure the card, you can call 0755-83179002, and EB-LINK engineers will give configuration suggestions based on the equipment list, and a solution can be responded to on the same day.
