In mid-July, EB-LINK completed the packaging and shipment of a batch of Gigabit and 2.5G SFP optical modules, which were used for point backhaul and aggregation links in a provincial video surveillance network transformation project. All of them were tested one by one before leaving the factory.

Difficulties of the project: scattered points, long distance, online in batches

This batch is mainly Gigabit single-mode 10KM modules, with corresponding proportions of 2.5G 20KM/40KM models. This transformation involves the backhaul of a large number of cameras along the highway and in villages. Most of the point boxes do not have equipment room conditions, and the link distance ranges from hundreds of meters to tens of kilometers. The owner requires that the goods arrive in batches according to the construction progress. The same batch must maintain the same code and be traceable to avoid port alarms caused by mixed insertion of different batches. The power supply and lightning protection on the box side must also be planned along with the module plan.

Configuration caliber: Gigabit to edge, 2.5G to aggregation

Delivery follow-up

This batch of goods isSecurity video surveillance fiber optic transmission solutionAnother implementation in a large-scale delivery scenario, the first batch of goods arrived has cooperated with the construction party to complete the opening of the pilot section, and EB-LINK technical support provides remote guidance according to the online batch.

In the following months, the spot inventory of long-distance models will be replenished in batches. For the expansion segment, it is recommended to declare the usage several weeks in advance to facilitate locking in the same batch and the same coding caliber.
