Recently, EB-LINK has launched a round of spot stocking for the power industry, focusing on wide-temperature optical modules and gigabit transceivers commonly used for communication renovation of outdoor cabinets and relay rooms in substations to cope with the renovation construction season starting in March.

Why you need to stock up before remodeling season

Substation communication transformation is mostly concentrated during the spring inspection window. After the power outage plan is approved, the project often requires materials to be brought in, tested, and put on shelves within two weeks. In previous years, some projects in prefectures and cities were delayed by more than a week due to insufficient module production schedules and equipment that had not yet arrived after the optical cable laying. This year, we have changed to prepare commonly used models in stock and ship them as needed, moving the supply rhythm forward.

What models does this batch of stock cover?

  • The optical port side is mainly composed of wide-temperature SFP Gigabit single-mode dual-fiber modules, covering links within the station and to regional dispatch within 10km, corresponding toSFP Gigabit single mode dual fiber 10KM optical module;
  • The data side is supplemented with 2.5G single-mode dual-fiber 20KM and 40KM files, which are used for the aggregation of comprehensive automation information substations;
  • Remote transmission side supporting equipmentGigabit single mode dual fiber one optical one electrical fiber optic transceiverWith LC and SC jumpers, all are tested one by one before being put into the warehouse, and the test records are retained for future reference.

How to apply for spot support for power projects

Design institutes or integrators can call to obtain the spot list and temperature range specifications; for communication equipment that is already in service, code can be customized for free as required. New modules will be recognized by the network management as soon as they are inserted, avoiding secondary debugging that takes up power outage time.

The quantity and specifications of the stock are subject to the inventory on the day. The wide-temperature grade and the commercial grade have similar appearance, but the working conditions are obviously different. When selecting the model, be sure to check the temperature range and power supply system. If you need to check, please contact Wolflight technical support at 0755-83179002.
