This month, the EB-LINK fiber optic transceiver production line expansion was completed and put into operation. The production line simultaneously added a full-load burn-in station and a unit-by-unit optical power test station. The monthly production capacity increased significantly, and the industrial wide-temperature model was included in the spot inventory pool for the first time.
The direct reason for the expansion of production: the whole batch delivery is getting larger and larger
Optical fiber transformation in safe cities and industrial parks often places orders for hundreds of units in a single batch, and temporary replenishment of orders is required during the rush period. In the past, production schedules were tight during peak seasons and required delivery in multiple batches. After the expansion, one optical and one electrical, one optical and four electrical and the rack card series can be produced in parallel. Urgent orders can be scheduled on a rolling basis on a weekly basis, and the supply rhythm can better match the construction progress.
Three changes in the new production line
- Full-load trial operation station: The entire machine is tested at full speed under real traffic, and individuals with intermittent packet loss are screened out in the factory.
- Optical power recording one by one: the transmitting and receiving values are filed according to the serial number, and can be paired according to the link when shipped. The after-sales traceability is well documented.
- For the first time, industrial wide-temperature models are in stock: field cabinets and summer high-temperature computer room projects can be selected directly without waiting for customized production.
What does stocking mean for the engineering side?
The change that project managers feel is that the replenishment cycle is shortened:100M single mode single fiber 1 optical 1 electrical + 1 optical 4 electrical fiber optic transceiver and Gigabit single mode single fiber 1 optical 1 electrical + 1 optical 2 electrical fiber optic transceiverOnce the commonly used combinations are confirmed, they can be shipped in batches. Temporary orders do not need to be rescheduled in the entire batch; industrial scene matching can be combinedIndustrial automation and machine vision network solutionsPlan together.
The production expansion will not change the process of testing each product before shipping. Test data is provided with the goods, and batch reports can be issued according to the order. The stocking plan and production schedule can be confirmed with EB-LINK sales by calling 0755-83179002.
