Expansion of the aggregation ring often requires active modules and passive components at the same time. When purchasing separately, the most likely problem is the order of arrival. Recently, a provincial metropolitan area network aggregation ring project adopted a packaged supply method. EB-LINK integrated the modules and passive accessories into a complete list and shipped them in batches according to the construction sequence.

The complete list is reversed based on the number of ports.

Based on the customer port table, module, patch cord, adapter and patch panel capacities are listed port by port. In the list, not only write the number of modules, but also ensure that the length of the jumper is consistent with the actual wiring of the cabinet, for exampleLC-LC single mode dual core jumperConfigure in two configurations: 3 meters and 5 meters to avoid the situation where there are enough connectors but not enough wires.

Arrival sequence of ODF and jumpers

The distribution frames and adapters arrive in advance to allow the computer room to complete the termination first; the modules and jumpers arrive one week before the cutover, reducing the risk of end-face contamination caused by long-term storage at the site. Single core side useSC-SC single mode single core jumperAt the location, sufficient cleaning supplies and spare flanges are provided at the same time.

Packaged supply also saves the workload of multi-party reconciliation. Only one complete set is needed to sign for receipt. Missing parts are filled in the factory and then repacked separately, which does not affect the termination progress of the parts that have arrived.

Attenuators are reserved by port

Ports with short distances and high optical power are prone to overload. The list reserves fixed attenuators and adapters according to port types. There is no need to apply for replenishment for on-site adjustments on the day of cutover.
