Operators' metropolitan area network projects often need to roll out dozens of sites in the same cycle. What really slows down the progress is often not module production capacity, but the corresponding relationship between goods and sites. EB-LINK recently opened a batch delivery channel for metropolitan area network projects. Orders are split by office site and boxed by equipment, and the goods can be installed directly on site.
Batch orders are first divided into site lists
When placing an order, the customer submits a site table. The fields include site number, device model, number of ports and required distance range, for exampleSFP+ 10G single-mode dual-fiber 10km optical moduleCorresponds to which device in which computer room. The factory splits and distributes the goods by row, and each station is packed separately to avoid sorting by the construction team after the entire batch arrives. If a certain office needs to be opened in two phases, the quantity of the line will be divided into two arrival batches.
The direct benefit of splitting is clear reconciliation: the arrival of goods is signed at the office point, and missing parts only need to be reissued in one box. There is no need to touch the entire batch of goods, and there is no need to remove the installed ports and recheck them.
One order per box, with a correspondence table included in the box
The office site number is marked on the outside of each packaging box. The module details and port correspondence table of the box are placed in the box. The fields are consistent with the arrival acceptance form to facilitate two-way verification. For sites where multiple brands of equipment coexist, modules are placed in grids by equipment type to reduce the probability of mismatching of installed equipment. They can also be identified by labels when rushing to work at night.
Delivery cadence aligned with cutover window
The channel supports arrival in batches. The first batch covers sites that are ready for construction. Subsequent batches will be postponed according to the cutover plan. Each batch will be provided with test records one by one. This model is inSoutheast Asian operator 10G optical module and ODF batch delivery projectHas been verified in one round.
