Recently, EB-LINK has added low-smoke halogen-free (LSZH) sheath options to its armored and anti-rodent jumper series. Regular lengths are available for order, covering multi-mode and single-mode, LC, SC and other connectors, and are oriented to the fire protection requirements of enclosed spaces and shaft wiring.
Why replace this sheath?
Spaces such as tunnel equipment rooms, office building shafts and weak current rooms are mostly managed as closed or semi-closed places. Project fire protection review usually requires that the cables used in them have flame retardant, low smoke, and halogen-free properties, and jumpers cannot be omitted as link ends. Traditional PVC sheaths produce heavy smoke and release hydrogen chloride gas when burned, while LSZH materials produce low smoke and do not contain halogens. If the backbone optical cable is low-smoke and halogen-free but the end jumper is still PVC, the entire link may still be stuck during the acceptance process, and the materials should be unified from the backbone to the end.
In which scenarios is it recommended to choose this gear?
- Cabling in monitoring transmission sections of tunnels, subways and other computer rooms and cabinets
- Office building shaft to floor end jumper, residential weak current shaft FTTH placement point
- Machinery workshops, storage area bridges and other flame-retardant cables share space
- Overseas projects that need to submit sheath material description and testing records
Delivery form and ordering method
new optionsMultimode armored jumpersSingle-mode mouse-proof jumpers are still shipped after actual testing one by one. The insertion loss is generally controlled within 0.3 dB. The batch number is printed on the surface of the sheath, so the entire batch can be traced. Regular lengths from 1 meter to 10 meters are stocked, and each piece has a laser-engraved length label for easy on-site inventory; non-standard lengths and mixed connectors can be ordered in batches, usually delivered within 3 to 5 working days.
