Standardized test centers require that the images, sound pickup, and access control signals of each examination room be stably sent to the inspection center. However, the original wiring of many schools is Category 5e network cables, and the cross-building distance and anti-interference are tight. Channel and fiber distribution are the easiest to rework during renovation.
First, make a clear count of the channels at each test site.
The conventional configuration is 2 to 4 channels of images plus 1 channel of sound pickup in each examination room, and the center side also controls the PTZ and access control in reverse. Arranged according to a group of 8 examination rooms8-channel video + 1-channel reverse 485 data video optical transceiver, the image and reverse data are framed separately; if only the control signal is supplemented, use2-way bidirectional RS485 data optical terminalIt is more flexible to hang it alone on the fiber of this floor.
Cross-building links prioritize single-fiber transmission and reception, saving fiber occupancy
There are usually only one or two fiber cores left in the shaft from the teaching building to the center, and the dual-fiber solution is often stuck because there is no core available in the shaft. The single-fiber wavelength division device is paired with a pair of A and B ends. One core can pass in both directions. The access switch is equipped with a gigabit single-mode single-fiber one-optical-one-electrical transceiver on one side to collect the network traffic of the camera and pickup to avoid occupying the remaining cores.
The wiring and grounding of the reverse 485 are the focus of rework
- Use the same set of labels for polarity A and B at both ends, and verify it by powering on each examination room before installation;
- The PTZ protocol and baud rate are set according to the actual gear of the device, and are uniformly recorded in the ledger on the central side;
- In the weak current room, the 485 wires should not run parallel to the power wires on the same section of the bridge, and the spacing should be controlled at more than 100mm.
After checking these three points, the test center link acceptance can usually be passed in one go.
