After entering June, surveillance and park networks in many places have carried out seasonal inspections, and the demand for spare parts has shifted from single modules to complete sets of supplies. EB-LINK has conducted a round of centralized warehousing of spare parts such as transceivers, optical modules, racks and jumpers based on the list of models in use by customers.

The spare parts list is model convergence first.

The most common problem at the site is not missing parts, but too scattered models: there are four batches of transceivers on the same link, and if it breaks, there is no one that can be directly connected. This time the storage is sorted by speed and single and double fiber. The Gigabit access side is divided intoGigabit single mode single fiber one optical one electrical fiber optic transceiverMainly with commonly used specifications, it can be used in racks with different numbers of slots. Customers can send the in-use list to compare and complete the list, and technical support will simultaneously prompt models that can be converged, reducing long-term coexistence of small batches.

Complete set configuration reduces on-site parts finding

Each point spare parts package is configured as a complete set of the complete machine plus jumpers and dust-proof parts. It contains transceivers or modules, LC jumpers, dust caps and label strips to avoid the situation of replacing the whole machine only to find that one jumper is missing. For customized coding modules, they are stored in compartments according to the brand of the docking equipment. The equipment model and code version are marked on the counter. When changing machines at night, there is no need to check them one by one, they can be used directly after taking them out.

Pre-holiday allocation and technical support hours extended

In view of the intensive inspection period, the working day technical support response period has been extended, and customers are reminded to check the inventory quantity two weeks before the planned inspection to allow time for replenishment and coding. Customers who need to calculate the quantity of spare parts based on the in-use list can call 0755-83179002 for consultation, and technical support will give grading suggestions.

The model list of regular spare parts will be updated quarterly for the maintenance team to compare and self-check for gaps.
