In the past, overseas customers usually relied on emails to report for repairs. If someone missed a copy, they would have to go through the process again. This month, EB-LINK organizes this link into a work order channel: one email to enter the order, generate a work order number, repair and spare parts are transferred separately, and at the same time, the communication period with overseas time zones is fixed.
A work order starts with an email, but a number must be left
The entry points for ordering are email and phone: describe the phenomenon, attach the label, photo and batch number to create an order. The work order number will be used throughout the entire process of fault identification, shipment, arrival retest and return mailing. When reissuing data on site, you can search by the number by the number without having to re-narrate the project background. Information that needs to be provided with the order includes link length, peer device brand and module model, for exampleSFP Gigabit single mode dual fiber 10KM optical moduleWhich port to use.
Repair parts and spare parts go in two lines and are not equal to each other.
- Suspected faulty parts will be sent back after being registered in batches. They will be retested upon receipt and the conclusion will be written back to the work order.
- Spare parts that affect the opening can be shipped first, and then offset after the repair conclusion is made, so there is no need to wait on site.
- If it is determined to be a link or device-side problem, the work order will be redirected to remote fault diagnosis without occupying the repair queue.
The time difference problem is solved by fixed communication time slots
Technical support will still respond on working days, but overseas work orders will be handled in one or two fixed time periods according to the customer's time zone to avoid problem descriptions staying overnight on both sides. You only need to provide port readings and indicator light photos on site, and most port identification and power abnormalities can be identified at this step; this is consistent withSoutheast Asian operator 10G optical module and ODF batch delivery projectIt is consistent with the practices formed in, and is now provided to the outside world as a standard channel.
The channel has been opened to existing overseas customers. To report repairs, please email sale01@eb-link.com.cn and call 0755-88844562.
