In view of the tight delivery schedule of industrial projects and the need for temporary parts replacement on site, EB-LINK has recently replenished the spot inventory of Gigabit and 10G single-mode optical modules, covering the common specifications of ring network backbones and convergence ports. All optical modules continue to support free coding according to equipment brands.

Stocking is concentrated on two types of ports

  • Convergence between ring network end and cabinet: single mode dual fiber 10 km specification, such asSFP Gigabit single mode dual fiber 10KM optical module.
  • Cross-factory long-distance segment: Calculated based on link budget, generally leaving a 3 dB margin.
  • Uplink on the machine room side:SFP+ 10G single-mode dual-fiber 10km optical moduleAvailable with Gigabit multimode series.
  • Multi-mode specifications are used for short-distance jumpers in the computer room, and are stocked separately from single-mode. Unpopular wavelengths and ultra-long-distance specifications still need to be scheduled for production. Please confirm based on the current inventory before placing an order.

Writing code solves port identification

Field switches often come from different brands. If the module cannot identify the port, it cannot be connected. One less node in the ring network equals one less backup path. The code should be written for compatibility with Cisco, Huawei, H3C, ZTE, Ruijie, etc., and tested one by one before sending.SFP 100M single mode dual fiber 20KM optical moduleOlder models of this type that are still running are also supported. It should be noted that writing code only adjusts the device identification information. The port rate and transmission distance are still determined by the module itself. When encountering a port that cannot be opened, first distinguish whether it is an identification problem or insufficient optical power.

How to apply

Report the switch model and number of ports via 0755-83179002 or sale01@eb-link.com.cn on working days. Technical support will check the delivery time based on current inventory. For urgently needed parts, samples can be arranged first to confirm compatibility.

The coding batch and the corresponding equipment model are recorded together on the delivery list. Subsequent expansion can only be reported according to the same model. EB-LINK updates the inventory and production schedule according to working days.
