This month, EB-LINK completed the shipment of the second batch of optical fiber transceivers for an overseas metropolitan surveillance and transformation project. This batch of orders were combined with racks and cassettes according to the convergence points: the intersection cabinet is on the rack, the front-end rod box is cassette, and the delivery list directly corresponds to the installation point table.

Difficulties in linking overseas projects

The common points of this type of projects are that the optical cable arrives first, the power supply is limited, and the operation and maintenance manpower is thin. How to implement the combination method

  • All single-fiber equipment is labeled A and B in pairs, and the list number corresponds to the label one-to-one.
  • The power supply is selected with wide voltage specifications according to the local power grid. After leaving the factory, each unit is tested and the serial number is filed according to the batch.
  • A small proportion of spare parts are randomly provided, and replacement parts are left for each end of A and B.
