Recently, EB-LINK has completed a round of spot expansion of high-speed interconnection cables for computer rooms. The 10G and 25G DAC and AOC product lines are kept in stock in multiple lengths to meet the intra-cabinet and cross-cabinet interconnection needs of virtualization and storage networks. Orders can generally be dispatched on the same day.

Why Spot Matters for Storage Networks

Cluster expansion is often scheduled during the downtime window. The nodes are already on the shelf but the cable length is not suitable. The only option is to place a new order and wait, and the deployment is immediately stuck. DAC is suitable for short-line interconnection in the same cabinet, with low cost and power consumption; AOC covers cross-cabinet scenarios of three to ten meters, solving the awkward range where DACs are out of reach and optical modules are wasteful. Both types of media are available in complete lengths and can be used as needed during network planning.

Models covered by this stocking

  • 10G DAC high speed cable: Commonly used materials for interconnecting 10G storage nodes and switches in the same cabinet.
  • 40G to 10G DAC high speed cable: Solve the problem of mixed-speed interconnection of 10 Gigabit network cards downstream of new storage switches.
  • 10G AOC active optical cable: Cross-cabinet link, with common lengths ranging from 3 meters to 10 meters.
  • 25G DAC and AOC are stocked simultaneously to coordinate with the construction of 25G computing clusters.

Test items one by one before shipment

All ready-made cables are tested for point-to-point link and identification before shipment to verify compatibility with mainstream switches and network cards. Test records are also included with the goods to facilitate later audits and troubleshooting by customers.

In the next step, EB-LINK plans to continue to supplement the length specifications of 40G and 100G cables. If you need special lengths in stock, please call 0755-83179002 to check the inventory and delivery date.
