Recently, the EB-LINK optical module custom coding station has been expanded and put into use. Batch coding, readback verification and actual insertion and sampling are split into independent processes, and the daily processing capacity of customized orders has been significantly improved. The code library currently covers mainstream brands such as Cisco, Huawei, H3C, ZTE, and Ruijie, and all optical modules can be written for free according to the code type.
Coding is a project requirement, not an option
Different brands of equipment have different identification strategies for third-party modules: some check the identification field, and some read the manufacturer information. If they are not correct, an alarm of unrecognized module will appear or even the port cannot be started. In actual projects, switches often mix brands, and the same link may require two code types at both ends. The essence of coding is to organize the information reported by the module into a form acceptable to the target device, which is a routine action in hybrid network transformation.
Work station reorganization: writing code, reading back, and inserting each section
The focus of this upgrade is on process splitting. Batch code writing, readback comparison after writing, and on-machine insertion and random inspection are completed by independent workstations. The labeling process is coupled with a two-person review, so the risk of code mixing is prevented in the factory instead of on site. For delivery times, splitting means less rework:SFP+ 10G single-mode dual-fiber 10km optical moduleThis type of high-frequency model can be transferred and packaged on the same day after writing the code, so there is no need to queue up and wait for the verification station.
Proofing confirmation is still a fixed action before batch production
Before customizing the batch shipment, please make a sample and verify it on the target switch, and then enter the batch after receiving the signature. The port corresponding table and code label are shipped with the box. For mixed-brand projects, it is recommended to send the complete list of equipment models during the inquiry stage to avoid adding codes midway and interrupting the schedule.
For projects that require mixed brand coding and delivery, you can send the device model and port quantity to sale01@eb-link.com.cn, or call 0755-83179002 to arrange proofing support. Sample batches are usually sent out within three working days.
