Starting this month, in addition to the original one-by-one appearance and continuity inspection, the EB-LINK computer room stacking line series will add a link random inspection link with business speed. 10G to 100G DACs and AOCs must go through this step before they can be packed.
After which process is it added?
The production line was originally completed until the wire body was conductive, the shielding layer was continuous, and the golden finger was visually inspected. The new step is to insert the finished product into the test fixture, run the full traffic at the nominal rate, and observe whether the link training can pass in one go, whether there is error accumulation and port jitter, and then package it after passing it. Problem batches are stopped before leaving the factory. The fixtures are configured in four gears: 10G, 25G, 40G, and 100G. There is no need to use low-speed channels to check high-speed lines.
Different speeds have different concerns
- 10 Gigabit and 25G channels such as10G DAC high speed cableWith the 25G model, it mainly depends on training stability and contact resistance, focusing on checking the reset feel after plugging and unplugging.
- For the 40G/100G channel, look at the balanced performance of the four sub-channels. Any deviation will report a link alarm on the switch side.
- AOC additionally records the matting performance at both ends at normal temperature and after temperature rise to avoid deviations between the normal bench and after installation.
What it means for delivery
matching25G DAC high speed cableDelivery orders are recorded according to batch registration and sampling, and can be traced on-site based on the batch number. For the integrator, what is reduced is the time to check each item after it is put on the shelf, and it also avoids misdiagnosing cable problems as network card or module compatibility issues.
This link currently covers regular lengths. The verification cycle for customized lengths and branch specifications will be stated in the quotation. Regular spot specifications will still be issued according to the original delivery date. If you need to confirm the test conditions of a certain link, you can dial 0755-83179002.
