Recently, the EB-LINK official website product center has launched a PCIe to M.2/SATA hard drive expansion card area, which brings together ten models from single port to double-sided four-port, all of which are in stock to facilitate server and storage users to quickly select models according to channel specifications.
The model gradient is complete, covering everything from disk replenishment to capacity expansion.
The models on the shelves this time are divided into categories according to the number of slots and disks:PCI-EX4 to M.2 single port expansion cardSuitable for adding a system disk or cache disk to an old server;PCI-EX16 to M.2 four-port expansion card (double-sided version)For large-capacity scenarios, two M.2 SSDs are installed on the front and back, and four drives can be connected to one x16 slot. In the middle, there are dual-port and hybrid models of x1, x4, and x8 with different levels. The layers are clear and can be used as needed.
When selecting a card, first check how many channels are left on the motherboard.
- The bandwidth of the x1 slot is limited, priority is given to capacity replenishment, and high-speed NVMe disks are not recommended;
- The x4 slot can be used with dual-port series, and the two gears, 20G and 40G, are distinguished by disk speed;
- It is recommended to directly install a four-port or M.2 plus SATA hybrid expansion card in the x8 and x16 slots to reduce slot occupation;
- Before installation, check the motherboard manual to confirm the number of electrical channels in the slot to avoid using only x4 in the full-length slot.
Ready stock and supporting support are in place simultaneously
The models in the special area are all regular spot models, and identification and reading and writing tests must be completed card by card before shipment; likePCI-EX8 to 4-port M.2+4-port SATA expansion cardThis type of hybrid model also supports two types of hard drives on the same card. When selecting, you can call 0755-83179002 and technical support will assist in confirming the channel, plate length and heat dissipation space.
The special area also provides slot specifications and adapter disk length parameter tables for each model. Users can compare them step by step based on budget and performance goals. Firmware and compatibility instructions will be updated in batches in the future.
