The renovation of visual workstations is often stuck on two small things: where to get the electricity and how to route the wires. If the planning is not in place, the temporary dragging of cables will affect the appearance of the workshop, or the power cables and data cables will be mixed together to cause bit errors. The cost of rework will be much higher than if it was planned in advance, and the line suspension window will be occupied.

When taking power, look at the load first and then the location.

The camera, lens light source, acquisition host and fill light control each have peak currents. It is recommended to calculate the total power of the workstation first, and then leave a separate path from the nearest power distribution cabinet, and do not connect it to the original conveyor path. Light source ballasts are common sources of interference. Power supply and data should be routed to separate slots as much as possible. Do not stack high-power equipment on the same circuit. Switching power supplies and camera adapters should be concentrated in the same section as much as possible to facilitate unified maintenance.

Strong and weak current slotting and crossing

  • When power cables and network/optical fibers are routed in parallel, separate cable troughs and keep the spacing as wide as possible to avoid bundling in the same trough.
  • When it is necessary to cross, cross it vertically and do not fit it in parallel for a long distance.
  • The bending radius is retained at the fiber optic lead and at the corners, and armored sections are used inside the cabinet to prevent pulling and rat bites.
  • Reserve a section of the disk and label it, so you don't have to re-wire it when moving the workstation or adding cameras in the future.

How to finish the optical fiber after it reaches the cabinet

After the trunk optical fiber is grounded into the optical port in the cabinet, a short section of network cable is run on the workstation side to reduce the number of connectors. For direct use when the cabinet space exceeds 100 mSFP+ 10G single-mode dual-fiber 10km optical module, jumper selection in the cabinetLC-LC single mode dual core jumper, use armored models for locations that need to be rodent-proof, and label them uniformly after the wiring is completed to facilitate future inspection.
