It is also a temperature test, and some batches are still shaking online after completion. The difference is mostly in the test design rather than the cabinet accuracy. How to select the temperature zone, when to take readings, and whether to bring flow rate, these three things determine whether the conclusion can be used.

The temperature zone is determined according to the on-site extreme value plus a margin.

First, calculate the actual temperature of the on-site environment: the shell temperature of outdoor cabinets after exposure to the sun in summer will be much higher than the meteorological temperature, and the extreme values of the distribution room and tunnel entrance must also be calculated separately. The test temperature zone generally adds a margin to the on-site extreme value. Industrial grade -40 ℃ to 85 ℃, commercial grade 0 ℃ to 70 ℃ are product specifications. Specification ranges cannot be used directly as on-site conclusions.Communication transformation plan for electric power and new energy stationsThe installation locations of mid-box substations and local cabinets are different, and the two environments of the same batch often need to be confirmed separately.

Holding time is easier to save than heating and cooling rates

  • The heating and cooling rate is set according to the capacity of the box. If it is too fast, the outer shell and the internal components will be out of sync.
  • Keep warm after reaching the endpoint. The criterion is that the temperature of the device is stable, not that the box temperature reaches the point and the reading is taken.
  • Leave the low temperature end for a few minutes from power on to reading. The first reading of the cold machine is usually low.
  • Pay attention to condensation during the temperature recovery stage. Turning on the power before it is dry may cause the test to cause a recurrence of the fault.

Static passing does not count as passing, you need to bring traffic to see again.

Even if the static parameters are up to standard at the endpoint temperature, the link may still lose packets at full load because both transmit power and jitter change with temperature. It is recommended to continuously observe the endpoint temperature with business flow or instrument pattern for a period of time, and at the same time record the difference between the three values of the temperature reported by the DDM, the shell temperature, and the box temperature, and write it into a report for comparison with the future site.Gigabit single mode dual fiber one optical one electrical fiber optic transceiverFor this kind of equipment in the form of a complete machine, the difference between the shell temperature and the box temperature is usually larger than that of the module, and the temperature measurement position must be fixed.

The conclusion of the temperature test must include the temperature clearing zone, holding time, loading status and instrument number. If one item is missing, it will be difficult to align it with the previous record. EB-LINK leaves the factory with temperature retest data based on batches.
