The purpose of the acceptance data sheet is to allow people who have never been to the site to judge the link status. If the field is missing, there will be no baseline for future expansion and troubleshooting; the threshold is written vaguely, making it easy for both parties to insist on different opinions.
In the header field, first write all the positioning information
Each core contains one row, which at least includes the optical cable segment number and fiber sequence, the distribution frame and port number of end A and end B, the location of the splice point (manhole or cabinet), test wavelength, pulse width and average time, bidirectional readings and their average values, and judgment conclusion. Attached to the table are the models of the fusion splicer and OTDR, refractive index setting, tester and date. Arrange jumper equipment in a separate row, clearly indicate the serial number and measured insertion loss, for exampleSC-SC single mode single core jumperThe corresponding port.
The judgment threshold is clearly written in three levels.
- Single-point splicing loss: Single-mode is judged as not exceeding 0.05 dB, and the average of the entire segment is controlled within 0.03 dB; points between 0.05 and 0.10 dB are marked as to be retested.
- Total link loss: based on the design budget. The portion exceeding the budget will be deemed unqualified. The 3 dB maintenance margin included in the budget will not be deducted repeatedly.
- Equipment specifications: The jumper insertion loss is within 0.3 dB, the UPC end face return loss is more than 50 dB, and the APC end face requirements are stricter.
Sampling ratio and retest closed loop
The screen display reading of the fusion splicer plus the one-way OTDR is usually the full number; the two-way OTDR spot test is recommended to be no less than 10%, and the backbone section or important link is recommended to be 20% to 50%. For any points that are judged to be retested, add two columns of retest conclusions and treatment measures at the end of the table. Write down whether to re-splice, add jumper transitions, or accept and mark the margin. As-built data is saved in editable tables and PDFs at the same time, and the format can be matched withCampus network and FTTH integrated cabling solutionThe port comparison table is unified.
The principle of table design is only four words: traceable. Anyone holding this table from six months ago should be able to reproduce the judgment process on that day. EB-LINK can provide blank templates by project.
