If you have a limited budget, you have to calculate it piece by piece. First get rid of the parts that can be solved at low cost, and then decide whether to install a new link.

Server network card is selected according to slot and uplink speed

Image storage nodes generally have dual power supplies and RAID cards occupying two slots. The remaining slot lengths and channels must be determined by the motherboard instructions.
