Once the link between the radio and television center and the emergency command center is interrupted, the entire program or the entire schedule will be affected. Redundancy design is not simply to put an extra cable, but to ensure that the backup path can actually take over and the takeover time can be expected.
Redundancy starts with physical direction
The main and backup optical cables must run through different shafts and different bridges. The same trench and the same pipe mean there is no backup. It is recommended to leave more than 20% spare fiber cores between floor wiring rooms for access equipment side.Gigabit single mode single fiber one optical one electrical fiber optic transceiverPaired with the opposite end's 1310/1550 wavelength, the same core runs in both directions, and the spare core can be installed at any time.
- Key seats are dual-routed and routed to two sets of distribution frames respectively to prevent the failure of the same module from affecting the main and backup systems.
- Use in areas that are easily touched by guides and walkersSingle-mode double-core armored jumper, anti-mouse jumper, dedicated jumper for Internet cafes, pigtail, Reduce external force to break the chain.
- Scheduling voice, video backhaul, and data network split fiber bearer, do not allow the three types of services to be crowded on the same core and share the same fate.
The spare core must first be proven to be usable
The spare fiber core must undergo a light pass test and register the attenuation value during acceptance, otherwise it will not be discovered until the day of switching that a certain core has been damaged by subsequent construction. Wear a dustproof cap on the spare core on the patch panel and mark the test date. The spare optical module on the module side must also have the same specifications as the model in use. Only when the wavelength and transmission distance are consistent can it be directly replaced. Mixing different distance specifications is a common cause of switching failure.
Switching must be verified by drills
It is recommended to do a business switching drill every quarter: cut off the main fiber and record the picture recovery time and whether there is any afterimage. When the Ethernet layer relies on spanning tree or link aggregation, the convergence is generally controlled at the second level; the main and backup switchover of video optical transceivers must ensure that the picture stabilizes within 1 second, otherwise the director will not be able to accept it. Only when the drill results are written into the ledger can it be considered a redundant closed loop.
The spare parts ratio is usually configured at 5% to 10% of the in-use quantity, including transceivers, optical modules and paired jumpers. EB-LINK can be stocked in pairs according to the project list and tested one by one before shipment. For details, please contact 0755-83179002.
