The closure of hot and cold aisles has changed the rules of computer room wiring: the raised floor must be ventilated and cannot be crossed randomly, the aisle door must be opened and closed without blocking the road, and the space at the top of the cabinet suddenly becomes valuable. When routing optical fibers in this kind of machine room, remember three things: upper routing priority, penetration holes must be sealed, and height allowances should be made for doors and drawers.

Priority is given to routing cables above, avoiding the air supply floor

The floor of the lower air supply room is the main body of the air duct. Opening holes at will will leak air and disrupt the air flow organization. Optical fiber trunks should go up to the upper level to seal the trunking and enter from the top of the cabinet. The points that really need to penetrate the floor should be closed with air sealing plates or brush rings. The fewer the better. The upper wiring routing diagram and the location of the distribution frame are planned in place at one time, and only jumpers are added later without changing the trunk.

The parts that pass through the end wall and passage door are most prone to errors.

The end wall and top plate of the passage closure are made of plates. A retaining ring must be installed after the hole is opened, and the optical cable must be sealed after passing through it, which not only maintains air pressure but also prevents fire. Jumpers are not allowed to be installed in the opening and closing envelope area of sliding doors and flip doors. Door body impact jumpers are the most common rectification items during inspections. Keep a safe distance between where the main trunk passes and the door frame, and use gentle bends instead of hard bends when turning.

Leave a height account for the top of the cabinet

The top of the cabinet must accommodate the space for cable routing racks, cable incoming bends, and drawer-type distribution racks. When planning, first calculate the bending radius: the single-mode pigtail should be statically not less than 30 mm, and the bending allowance for sheathed armored jumpers must be enlarged.
